SWEDEN

My brother Andrew is going to Sweden on January 19th. Rotary Youth Exchange is helping Andrew get there (I would personally like to thank Rotary for taking my brother away for a year). Rotary is a service organization that helps out in the community in Australia and also around the world. Rotary is an international organization and has an International Youth Exchange program that helps approximately 40 teens aged seventeen from WA go to countries with great cultural experiences. Andrew was one of the lucky few that got the country at the top of his list. I f only next year my other brother Matt wanted to go on exchange too! However I don't think he's to keen to be away from friends for a year even though he would meet new friends when he would be away. Oh well!

When I am old enough to go on exchange I'm going to go for it because it will be a great learning opportunity for me and a wonderful cultural experience. The places I would most like to go to would be Switzerland, Belgium, France or Italy.

HOLIDAYS

I just got back from holidays, the "High Country" in Victoria. We spent two weeks in complete relaxation away from busy towns and cities. It was one of the best holidays I've been on with my family. Anyway, now that I'm back home I've been getting so bored yet I'm dreading the return to school. My family and I went on a cruise on the "LADY MURRAY" which is a small boat that took us on the Murry River which boarders Yarrawonga and Muwala. One of many beautiful sites on the lunch time cruise was this colourful palm tree. Two hours later after leaving Muwala and Yarrawonga we arrived at our next destination Mansfield. It was very beautiful, scenic but most of all quiet. I've found, and so have my family, that drivers in country towns tend to be kinder than the ones here in Perth. A few days passed and it was almost Christmas which meant for Mum and Dad that we needed to pick a place to have Christmas lunch. My parents ended up choosing a place called "The Hotel Delatite" which had delish food. My absolute favourite part of the meal was the Big glass of Chocolate Mousse at the end.
